The Randolph County Development Authority (RCDA) has selected Taylor Hospitality to manage the future Railyard Events Center in Elkins, West Virginia.
The planned $11.6 million facility, to be built near the Elkins Railyard Depot, will serve as a dynamic conference and events venue as well as a hub for workforce development. Designed as a multi-purpose space, the center will feature a theater-style setting for performances alongside flexible areas for trade shows, business conferences, and training programs.
Taylor Hospitality was chosen for its extensive experience managing a diverse portfolio of hospitality assets, including hotels, golf courses, raceways, and large-scale event venues. In addition to this project, the company will also oversee operations at the Tygart Hotel following its renovation.
The partnership also highlights strong local connections, including West Virginia Marketing Manager Taira Gainer, whose background in regional tourism supports continued collaboration with community partners and stakeholders.
With a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, Taylor Hospitality looks forward to playing a key role in bringing this exciting new venue to life and supporting the growth of Randolph County’s tourism and business landscape. Groundbreaking for the Railyard Events Center is anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2023.
